Description

Anastrozole STADA ® contains an active substance called anastrozole. This belongs to a group of
medicines called aromatase inhibitors. Anastrozole STADA ® is used to treat breast cancer in women after menopause.

Anastrozole STADA ® works by lowering the amount of the hormone estrogen produced by your body.
It does this by inhibiting a natural substance (an enzyme) in your body called aromatase.

Anastrozole STADA ® must NOT be used
– if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to anastrozole or any of the other ingredients
– if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Do not take Anastrozole STADA ® if any of the above applies to you. If you are unsure
ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking Anastrozole STADA ®.
