Description

Anastrozole – It works effectively by lowering the level of estrogen in the blood, while being well tolerated by the body. It is worth noting that Anastrozole is available in tablet form with a dosage of 1 mg. In sports, for preventive purposes, athletes use this drug in a dosage of 0.5 mg every other day, and if symptoms of gynecomastia – 1 mg per day until they disappear, after which it is necessary to reduce the dosage to 0.5 mg every other day. Anastrozole should be taken after meals, drinking plenty of water.
The principle of the drug is that it blocks aromatase – an enzyme responsible for the conversion of testosterone into estradiol. By inhibiting the aromatase process, anastrozole reduces the amount of estradiol in the blood by 80%. Anastrozole can also increase LH and FSH levels, but treating low testosterone with aromatase inhibitors is ineffective.
