Description
Anastrozole-ratiopharm® 1 mg contains an active substance called anastrozole. This belongs to a group of medicines called “aromatase inhibitors”. Anastrozole-ratiopharm® 1 mg is used to treat breast cancer in women after menopause.
Anastrozole-ratiopharm® 1 mg works by lowering the amount of the hormone estrogen produced by your body. It does this by inhibiting a natural substance (an enzyme) in your body called aromatase.
The usual dose is 1 tablet 1 time daily.
Try to take your tablet at the same time each day.
